Free American random video call, live and without registration

Chatingly is one worldwide room. When you press Start, you're matched at random with someone else who pressed Start, wherever they are. Over two weeks in October 2026, about 1 in 5 people on Chatingly were in the United States, the second-largest group after India. The UK, Germany, Türkiye, the Netherlands, Canada and Indonesia come next.

There's no country filter, and that's on purpose: splitting the room by country would make everyone wait longer for a match. So an American random video call here means a random call where an American is often on the other side, not a guarantee. If you want to meet Americans, the time of day matters most (see below). After that, just ask: “where are you calling from?”

The US evening is when the room is most American. The room as a whole is busiest a little earlier, in the US afternoon, when India and Europe are online too. There are more people to match with then, but a smaller share of them are American.

Every call is live and one-on-one: your camera and theirs, connected between your two browsers over an encrypted connection. Nobody else is watching, and there's no time limit. When you're ready for someone new, press Next (or Esc on a keyboard) and you're on another call within seconds. People you just met are held back for a while, so Next brings new faces.

Next to the video there's a text chat, handy when one of you is somewhere noisy or for spelling out a name. You can send reactions and high-fives, drop an icebreaker question, or invite your match to one of six two-player games that run beside the video.

• Explicit video is hidden by default. A stranger's video is blurred while it's first checked, and whenever it may contain nudity. Seeing it anyway takes two deliberate steps.
• Leave, block or report. Next ends any call at once. Block means you're never matched with that person again. The flag reports them: the chat ends, moderators review it, and anyone reported by two different people is banned permanently.
• Keep personal details off camera. Your full name, school, workplace, number and social handles stay private, even if the other person shares theirs first.
• Never pay anyone who threatens you. If someone says they recorded you and asks for money, stop replying, keep screenshots and report it. In the US you can report it at ic3.gov; in India, call 1930 or use cybercrime.gov.in.
